Steve

I'm not sure if you are familiar with the Gaylordsville historic railroad hotel, but if you're not, I'm attaching a link to our website.

I am the new president of this non profit historic restoration project and we are having a General Membership Meeting Friday, September 14th.

We are always looking to give our members (contributors) a reason to attend our meetings and I was hoping to have a guest speaker talking about how to be better environmental "Green" citizens.

Denise Del Mastro sent me your clip from News30 and I am writing to see if you or someone from your organization would be willing to speak to our membership about either what your firm does or on what we can do to better take advantage of our valuable resources. I am thrilled by what you are doing downtown and hope that it becomes an inspiration to others.

One thought that I also had would be to take everyone on a walking tour of the hotel and have you talk about what we could do to upgrade the Hotel to Green standards. The walking tour would point out where we are wasting energy and what options we have to improve. The end result would be a proposal for the Hotel on something we can apply for a grant for and everyone else would benefit from listening to what they could do in their own homes as well. Guest speakers usually talk for less than 1 hour.

I am open to any other suggestions as well. The meeting starts at 6:30 with a Pot Luck dinner followed by business meeting and guest speaker.

Please let me know your availability & or interest in supporting our cause.

Thank you.

Jeff
